Holiday homework

Do we singaporeans view education too highly? Personally, I have to agree. Just take a look at our national table tennis team, almost all of them are foreigners and only a handful are singaporeans. This simply reveals a startling fact, singaporeans view certificates as the one and only way to earn money as parents discourage their child to persue their dreams in sports but instead focus on academics. Narrow minded and naive parents? I certainly agree.
